Fees & Rebates
Session Fees
The Australian Psychological Society recommends a fee of $311 per session. To support greater access to treatment, my fee is $260 per session. Payment is required on the day of the appointment.
Medicare Rebates
A referral is not required to see a Clinical Psychologist. However, Medicare rebates are only available with a doctor's referral and a completed Mental Health Care Plan. This entitles you to a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The out-of-pocket cost is $118.15 per session and may be less if you’ve reached the Medicare Safety Net threshold.
Private Health Rebates
Rebates may also be available through your private health insurance. No referral is required, but please check with your fund to confirm rebate amounts.
Please note: Medicare and private health insurance rebates cannot be claimed for the same session.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least two business days notice to allow the time to be offered to someone else. Late cancellations may incur a 50% fee.
