Welcome

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with individuals across the lifespan, focusing on supporting women as they navigate emotional challenges related to health, hormonal issues, and major life transitions. Whether you’re managing illness, experiencing peri or post-menopause, stepping into adulthood, or preparing for parenthood, I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore your emotional needs.

I appreciate that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, which is why my therapy approach focuses on providing a relational space that is non-judgmental and compassionate. Together, we work to identify your needs, build self-understanding, get out of a ‘rut’, and explore alternative ways to navigate difficult emotions, challenges, and relationships.

As a therapist, it’s important for me to show up genuinely—always valuing authenticity, incorporating humour, and committing to ongoing learning to provide the best possible support. I am based in South Perth, Western Australia.

More About Francoise

Over the past 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan, from children and adolescents to parents-to-be and those managing chronic conditions, including cancer and complex hormonal issues. My clinical psychology journey began in 1999 after completing my postgraduate studies, where my commitment to promoting emotional well-being was sparked through developing the Life Skills for Kids programs. These programs, inspired by my Master's research, were designed to build resilience and support children and their parents in managing anxiety, low self-esteem, self-confidence, and emotional difficulties. This experience laid a strong foundation for understanding emotional well-being across the lifespan, including neurodivergence.

In 2014, I developed specialised expertise in perinatal mental health, working within a tertiary hospital as part of the Women’s, Newborn, and Children’s Services. This role allowed me to support women and their families through significant life changes. Later, I expanded my women’s health experience to include supporting those impacted by breast cancer. These roles have shaped my clinical practice, enriching my understanding of how health and life transitions can affect emotional well-being and sense of self.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me walking my dog, Paddy, spending time with my family, including my two young adult children, or seeking inspiration for new meal ideas. I also love to unwind by discovering a new series to watch or planning my next holiday adventure.
